Departing daily, our four hour tour provides a comprehensive look at all major attractions of Coober Pedy and the local outback environment. Our entertaining tour guides explain the history of Coober Pedy and the discovery of opal. You then visit the Serbian Church and an authentic underground home. The tour then ventures through working opal fields. Continuing on, the tour offers magnificent views of the Breakaways Reserve - a low range of colourful, exposed outcrops once part of the Stuart Ranges. On return we pass along the dog fence and the moon plain. |
