2008 winner South Australia Heritage and Cultural Tourism, multi award winning tourist attraction. Discover the original opal mine dating back to 1916. The Old Time Miners had filled in the shaft hiding the mine below. It wasn't until 1968 when an underground home extension broke through, revealing much precious opal, which is still there for you to see today. Large selection of souvenirs and opal jewellery. |
