Family Engagement Officer (Outreach Worker)
Part-Time Fixed-Term for 12 months
About the Opportunity
Council is seeking a motivated and community-focused professional to join our team as a Family Engagement Officer (Outreach Worker) at Mini Gems Children’s Centre.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with families, carers, and community partners to support the wellbeing, learning, and development of children under six years of age.
The position plays a key role in promoting the programs of Mini Gems Children’s Centre, facilitating playgroups, outreach activities, and community engagement initiatives designed to introduce families to the Centre and encourage enrolment.
A current National Police Certificate (no older than 6 months) and a Working with Children Check are required.
What we offer you
This position is available on a part-time fixed-term contract for 12 months.
The position is classified between General Level 2 and 3. Council will consider all applications with suitable skills and qualification, and salary range will be in accordance with the South Australian Municipal Salaried Officers Award.
In addition, superannuation is paid in line with the Superannuation Guarantee
