Stamp Duty Waiver Petition
The City of Victor Harbor is leading a petition to the South Australian Government, calling for a waiver of stamp duty for first homebuyers purchasing existing homes in Regional South Australia, up to the first $750,000 of the purchase price.

The District Council of Coober Pedy (Council) will stop collecting physical signature for the petition at the customer service office from Wednesday 29 April 2026 at 5:00pm. The written signatures on the hard copy form at our Council will be returned to the City of Victor Harbor to be able to lodge with the State Government in May 2026.
