Managing your bills


Council Payments

The District Council of Coober Pedy offers different payment methods:

BPay is a safe and easy way to pay and manage your bills online. Log in to your online or mobile banking. To pay with BPAY:

  1. Look for the distinctive BPAY logo on your bills.

  1. Log on to your Internet or mobile banking site or call your phone banking service.
  2. Select the BPAY or bill payment option and then follow the simple instructions.
  3. Decide the amount you’d like to pay and the payment date.

You can also schedule recurring payments.

Come to the Council Administration Office, Lot 773 Hutchison Street, Coober Pedy with your bill.

Payment methods available are Cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (MasterCard or VISA), Cheque and Money Order.

Payments can be made Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm.

Post your payment slip or account details with your cheque or money order or credit card details on the back of payment slip.

Cheque and money orders need to be made payable to the District Council of Coober Pedy.

Use Centrepay to make regular deductions from your Centrelink payment.

Centrepay is a voluntary and easy payment option available to Centrelink customers.

Go to servicesaustralia.gov.au/centrepay for more information on how to set up your Centrepay deductions.

Receive your notices via email

You can receive your electricity and water accounts and rates notices electronically via Ezybill.

Ezybill

Electronic delivery of your notices makes it easier and more convenient for you to manage your payments, save paper and reduce waste.

You'll have your notice accessible on any electronic device and at your fingertips whenever you are ready to pay your electricity, water or rates.

You’ll be notified when your bill arrives by email.
